7 essential tips for safety setup for Kitesurfing

Kitesurfing is indeed one of the most amazing water sports that exists nowadays.
Nevertheless, let's not forget that it is an extreme sport and should only be learned with official schools and professionals of the industry. Here are the important points to take into consideration when setting up your kitesurfing gear.

Be aware of the weather conditions and assess depending of your level

Check weather conditions and keep it safe. 

 

 

Make sure the wind is not too strong or even too low for kitesurfing. Also waves and currents could become an obstacle, so always observe. Check our post on rip currents HERE

Choose your kite size wisely

Depending on wind conditions, as not to take too small or too
big.

Check where to set up your kite

Make a good analysis of your spot and surroundings and take an open site to mount your gear.

Pump your kite

Pump your kite. 

 



Make sure your kite is pumped hard enough.
Remember that if you do not so, it can be dangerous as you won't be able to relaunch.
