Find below our travel advice for Tarifa and statements (from March 2020 until today).
As the situation and restrictions may change again, we invite you to check with your authorities their latest recommendations.
We hope you are keeping the spirits up!

Great news, masks are no longer mandatory outdoors as from June 26th in Spain :)
Spain has made mandatory wearing masks at all times when indoors or outdoors, but as in our latest statement in September 2020 (see below), it is not mandatory while making sports :)
The World Health Organisation has advised NOT to wear masks when making sports.
We should not wear a mask when exercising as masks may reduce the ability to breathe comfortably. Sweat can make the mask become wet more quickly which makes it more difficult to breathe and promotes the growth or microorganisms.

Total freedom is back!
No more curfews or restrictions in movement in Tarifa and Andalucia.
So you will be able to enjoy fully our lovely town and lifestyle!
We hope to see you soon .
The World Health Or July and August have been busy months for us, as people were enjoying their well deserved holidays!
Now in September, all beaches are still opened and you can freely ride, hang out and even enjoy a nice day at the Chiringuito (Beach bar).
No restrictions there 🙂
Tarifa has no clusters as some other areas of Spain. The few cases were asymptomatic, or with mild symptoms, and just needed to spend their quarantine at home.
People are still coming to and willing to enjoy our little paradise, that keeps giving it all for their guests!
We are enjoying the best time of the year! Not crowded, great conditions and a very nice temperature.
We have kept our standards for safety since last year as well as our label for a safe establishment.
See our previous statement below.
Our first priority has always been your safety.
More than ever, we are making sure that you will learn and progress in a safe and secure environment. Free your Mind has earned the label of "Andalucia Segura" (Safe Andalusia), as our business and staff complies to all COVID protocols and recommendations.
(Earned in May 2020)
We hope to see you soon in Tarifa or Morocco!
Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or doubts your may have.
Since our previous statement in 2020, we have kept the same standards and protocol in place :)
See all details below.
It's been a very busy month, as we have been working and developing the protocols, hosting meetings and working together with other schools of Tarifa to prepare this season!
We have been actively participating in all the meetings with local authorities, the Sailing Spanish federation, business associations and so much more in order to give the best service as always and keep your safety and well-being as our main priority.
A full protocol has been developed within our Association of kite schools of Tarifa and we have here the summarised action protocol.
While we were waiting to get back in the water, we've developed in March our online yoga classes.
More than ever, we need to live consciously and keep grounded but it is also a great tool to keep strong, in shape and balanced.
Yoga has been a fantastic practice combined with kitesurfing, check out our blog post on it!.
